NØDA (“NØDA,” “NODA,” “We,” “Us,” or “Our”) highly values your privacy and is dedicated to safeguarding your personal information, including your name, email address, and billing and shipping address (“Personal Information”). This Privacy Policy (“Policy”) outlines how and when NØDA collects, uses, and shares your information when you use our Services. This Policy applies to our family of websites (the “Sites”), including www.nodadeo.com and any other sites where this Policy is present, as well as the memberships available for purchase on the Sites to access the products we offer.

Information Collection & Use

The information we collect from you is used to carry out transactions, such as fulfilling your product purchases, sending you relevant information or content, and keeping you updated about our Sites and your Membership. We also utilize this information to personalize and enhance our Sites, Services, and your overall experience, with the ultimate goal of serving you better.

Information Collected Upon Registration

You can browse our Sites without registering. However, if you wish to place an order, Subscribe or request information, registration on the Sites is required. During registration, creation, or editing of your NØDA account, we will request specific Personal Information. For certain circumstances, such as purchasing our products, we may ask for your credit card, debit card, or acceptable payment option details, as well as your billing and shipping addresses. This information is securely stored with our third-party payment processor, as we do not retain or have access to your payment information. While providing Personal Information is optional, if you choose not to provide it, we will be unable to offer our products and Services or enable your Subscription.

Information We Collect

When you visit our Sites and/or register for a Subscription, we may collect certain information through automated means, such as cookies, web beacons, and other similar technologies. A “cookie” is a small text file that websites send to a visitor’s computer or Internet-connected device to identify the visitor’s browser or store information and settings. A “web beacon,” also known as an Internet tag, pixel tag, or clear GIF, is used to transmit information back to a web server. Additionally, we may employ third-party website analytics tools (e.g., Adobe, Google Analytics, Facebook Insights) that gather information about visitor traffic on our Sites.

Information we may collect through automated means includes
  • Information about the devices visitors use to access the Internet (e.g., IP address, device type, browser, domain name, operating system)
  • URLs referring visitors to our sites
  • Dates and times of visits to our sites
  • Information on actions taken on our sites (e.g., page views, site navigation patterns)
  • General geographic location (e.g., country, city) from which a visitor accesses our websites
  • Search terms visitors use to reach our sites and the webpage that led them to our Sites

2. Cookies and Other Tracking Technology
Cookies Information

We use cookies to enhance your browsing experience, recognise you as a repeat visitor, and improve the quality of our Service. When you enter our Sites, a cookie is sent to your computer, enabling us to identify your computer without identifying the specific user. We associate identification numbers in the cookies with other customer information when you log into the Service, allowing us to link the cookie information to you. Some cookies are served by third parties delivering services on our behalf. Most web browsers accept cookies by default, but you can modify your browser settings to prevent or receive notifications about cookies. To learn more about cookies and how to manage them using different browsers, visit www.allaboutcookies.org. However, blocking or deleting cookies used on our Service may limit your ability to fully utilise our Service.

Local Storage Objects

We may utilise Flash Local Storage Objects (“Flash LSOs”) to store your Site preferences and personalise your visit. Flash LSOs differ from browser cookies in terms of data stored, and you cannot manage Flash LSOs through your browser settings. For more information on Flash LSOs or to adjust your Flash cookie settings, visit the Adobe Flash Player Help Page. You can review and delete specific Flash LSOs by accessing the “Website Storage Settings Panel.”

Our servers automatically record information (“Log Data”) generated by your use of the Services. Log Data may include your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring web page, pages visited, location, mobile carrier, device and application IDs, search terms, and cookie information. We receive Log Data when you interact with our Services, such as visiting our websites, signing in, interacting with email notifications, or accessing third-party websites featuring a NØDA button or widget. We use Log Data to provide our Services and measure, customise, and enhance them.

7. Security Measures

We use the SSL/HTTPS protocol throughout our site. This encrypts our user communications with the servers so that personally identifiable information is not captured/hijacked by third parties without authorization.

In case of a data breach, system administrators will immediately take all needed steps to ensure system integrity, will contact affected users and will attempt to reset passwords if needed.

Please be aware that this Privacy Policy, and any other policies in place, in addition to any amendments, does not create rights enforceable by third parties or require disclosure of any personal information relating to members of the Service or Site. NØDA bears no responsibility for the information collected or used by any advertiser or third party website. Please review the privacy policy and terms of service for each site you visit through third party links.

You agree that we may disclose your information to a third party where we believe, in good faith, that it is desirable to do so for the purposes of a civil action, criminal investigation, or other legal matter. In the event that we receive a subpoena affecting your privacy, we may elect to notify you to give you an opportunity to file a motion to quash the subpoena, or we may attempt to quash it ourselves, but we are not obligated to do either. We may also proactively report you, and release your information to, third parties where we believe that it is prudent to do so for legal reasons, such as our belief that you have engaged in fraudulent activities.
